cherrybelle.org — Product Plan

Cherrybelle Kids. Indonesia's first AI-pre-screened, parent-controlled kids idol audition platform. Spiritual successor to Cherrybelle (2011, Indonesia's most beloved girl group, 400 → 9). Transparent AI scoring on three axes (vocal / dance / stage presence) — no facial profiling. PP TUNAS 17/2025 + COPPA 2025 native. WhatsApp-first parent communications. Run by Cherrybelle alumna as senior judges and mentors.

1. The wedge — why cherrybelle.org wins

  • No category leader in Indonesian kids-idol audition tech. TV-network gated (Idola Cilik on RCTI, The Voice Kids on GTV) or one-off label calls. JKT48 auditions Gen 12-14 but ages 13-18 and Jakarta-only. Nothing for 8-14, digital-native, nationwide, AI-screened. (JKT48 Gen 12)
  • Indonesian PP TUNAS No. 17/2025 (effective 1 Apr 2025) requires explicit verifiable parental consent for all minor-data processing. Ad-hoc TikTok casting calls + Google Form auditions can't ship that fast. We build it native = legal moat ≥ 12 months.
  • Cherrybelle brand equity = pre-built audience. 2011-2018 active, partial 2022 reunion, ongoing 2024-25 TikTok presence. 14-year mainstream brand recognition is unmatchable by greenfield entrants.

  • Transparent AI rubric. We publish the rubric. HireVue had to strip facial scoring after FTC pressure — we lead with no-facial-scoring instead of bolting it on.
